People have been killed and brutalized over such a tiny thing.  This Christmas, please do some research before you buy a gift for someone.  There is no way to guarantee that a diamond is conflict-free but if you have to purchase one, read how to go about doing so or consider some equally beautiful alternatives. 

Please don’t contribute to the trade of conflict-diamonds this holiday season.
