A sad day for television
Stupid ABC went and cancelled Ugly Betty, a show I happen to really, really love. I love its witty mockery of the Spanish telenovelas, that the lead character is not pretty in conventional standards, and most of all, I love that it makes me cry and laugh.
I hate you ABC. I forgave you for cancelling Commander in Chief but I will never forget this.

Now I know why I’ve been depressed, sad, and irritated the past week. It’s what Jelena Jankovic gave as an excuse when she lost to Melanie Oudin last year at Wimbledon. That’s what she called “woman’s problems.” Funny, I never thought I was affected by these hormonal fluctuations. Turns out, I’m your average woman.

Tennis stories have corny headlines
The worst I’ve read was when Rafael Nadal beat Mardy Fish last 2008. The headlines were basically “Nadal _____ (insert fishing related verb here) Fish”. Examples: “Nadal fries Fish,” “Nadal hooks Fish” and of course, “Nadal sinks Fish.”
